Tucker Arnold Foundation Donates $10,000 to Dr. Chang at OHSU.

8-12-13
Tucker Arnold Foundation made a donation to Dr. Bill Chang of Doernbecher Children's Hospital at Oregon Health Science University for his research of rare pediatric leukemia. Because of the rarity of Tucker's version of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia upon his diagnosis his family donated samples for research purposes. This donation will be used to help advance the research of Dr. Chang and his team as they focus on understanding the biochemical mechanisms for resistance in pediatric leukemias and develop novel targeted therapies. We are very excited to contribute towards this his research and will continue to raise funds for t(17;19) Pre-B ALL research. Learn more about The t(17;19) Research Fund at TAF.
American Cancer Society - Relay For Life Toy Drive

Tucker Arnold Foundation and American Cancer Society teamed up to bring More Birthday Love to kids battling cancer at the Beaverton Relay For Life on July, 21st 2012. "This was a rewarding event to be at. ACS's More Birthdays Campaign and TAF's Birthday Club are a perfect fit.", said Jen Arnold, Founder of Tucker's Toybox. "Tucker's Toybox what a great organization!", said Dana Taylor, Community Relationship Manager at American Cancer Society. Relayers donated over 125 new toys for the TAF Birthday Club!
Tucker Arnold Foundation is looking forward to growing this relationship with American Cancer Society and partnering together with them in our common goal of Happy Birthdays for cancer patients.
Celebrating One Year

3-16-12
Tucker Arnold Foundation celebrated our first year by delivering sweet and soft teddy bears and snuggling fleece blankets to the oncology floor at Dorenbecher Children's Hospital. A bittersweet day that marked the 13th month that Tucker has been an Angel and 1 year of our first Tucker's Toybox visit to DCH! We Tucked this sweet surprise into the doors of each room and the nursing staff was able to bring in a something special to brighten the day of so many babies, children and teens. Your Donations make it possible for us to continue to bring fun and play to these brave kids!
Portland CureSearch Walk

8-6-11
Tucker Arnold Foundation and Friends proudly participated in the Portland Curesearch Walk as Team Tucker on August 6th, 2011. CureSearch fundraises for The National Childrens Oncology Group and 100% of all funds raised go towards childrens cancer research.
Did you know that on average 46 children are diagnosed with cancer every day and 7 of them will not survive? For some of them the cancer takes them and for others, like Tucker, the treatment does. Childhood cancer research is grossly underfunded and needs your support.
